Booty Closure Account Lines.

In reply to your letter of the 14th instant, I have the honour to transmit for your information the enclosed statement showing the expenditure actually incurred up to the 31st July on account of the New Territory together with an estimate of expenditure for the remainder of the year.

2. I anticipate that there will be a considerable balance of revenue over expenditure at the end of the current year including all expenses on account of the New Territory.

3. The draft Estimates for 1900 will be forwarded to you by next week's mail, when I will report fully on the financial position of the Colony.
